Get a team of four friends to raise funds and be part of the fun with our second Golf Tournament, Friday September 15th 2023 at Lombard Glen Golf Club. Contact Vicki to register or for details.

Donate Books & Other Materials
The Library gratefully accepts new or used, recently published (within five years) books and audio-visual materials. Your library resources have been enhanced over the years through the addition of many useful donations. A dedication/presentation bookplate may be placed inside the donated material at your request.
We welcome your donations with the understanding that these materials become the property of the library to be used at our discretion. Donated items are added to the collection, sold at our annual book sale for fundraising, or recycled.
The Library will be very happy to accept the following materials in new or gently used condition:
- Recently published (5 years or less) hardcover and paperback books (adult, children’s, fiction & nonfiction)
- Current magazines especially featuring crafts, gardening, home decorating and cooking
- DVDS in original case, Audio books on CD in original case
- Local History materials.
We cannot sell dated, discoloured, damaged, musty or mildewed items at our book sales. Our experience tells us that the following items do not sell well:
- Reader’s Digest condensed
- Encyclopedias
- Incomplete sets
- Textbooks
- Harlequin romances
- Computer books more than 2 years old
- Most magazines more than 1 year old
New & used donations may be dropped-off at any time when staff are there to receive the materials. We maintain small, permanent book sale spaces in some branches. Thank you!
