Newboro Branch

10 Brock Street Newboro, ON K0G 1P0 613-272-0241 newboro@rideaulakeslibrary.ca

In August 1998, we opened this new branch in the former Newboro municipal building. The stone “court house” is one of the oldest buildings in Rideau Lakes Township dating back to 1850. Over the years, it has served as the location for the Newboro school, the local courthouse, municipal hall and even a jailhouse.

South Elmsley Branch

596 Highway 15 – RR#1 Lombary, ON K0G 1L0 613-284-9827 southelmsley@rideaulakeslibrary.ca

In return for a large spacious room in Lombary Public School, our library supplies a modern and well-maintained collection for the community and the school. With the amalgamation of Rideau Lakes Township, this library became part of our system. Today, it remains one of the few school-housed public libraries in the Upper Canada District School Board.
