This month Laura Lee is busy with programs for the whole family. Youth Yoga, Two Paint Parties for the kids and a Paint Party for the adults there are still a couple of spaces available so make sure to send Laura Lee an email if interested. Join in for a December Spirit Month Play, Learn & Story Library Live Program on Zoom (details in the newsletter) and Baby Song & Rhyme time continue at the Elgin Municipal Complex (spaces limited). Let’s meet up virtually to talk about the land we live upon and Indigenous perspectives.  Join Danka Brewer from Shabot Obaadjiwan First Nation to discuss treaties and unceded territority; to listen, ask questions, learn and be part of the conversation.  Our Zoom talk is coming up this Thursday, November 19th at 7 pm and is part of Ontario Treaties Week, supported by the Ministry of Indigenous Affairs.  If you have any questions or need help to connect on Zoom, please contact Vicki vicki@rlpl.ca

For November Laura Lee is bringing back Baby Songs & Rhymes spaces are limited so make sure to RSVP. The Friends of RLPL are on the search for new members. We rescheduled our Sign Workshop for November giving you 2 option to paint, pick your sign and register with Laura Lee (Hint: could make the perfect Christmas present) Hoopla is bringing back BONUS BORROWS for the month of November and the Rideau Lakes Public Library staff have another month of good reads for you to try.
