Curbside continues

Curbside access to library materials is ongoing even with the new restrictions put in place by the provincial government January 12 2021.  We welcome our members to reach out for help to order books, magazines, DVDs, printed forms, and other items, or to dip into our digital collections.  Curbside service remains at the same hours and all returned items will still be quarantined.  We encourage everyone to stay safe and if you are considering curbside feel free to order up as many titles as you need to make the most of your trip.  Remember many loans can easily be extended, renewals are usually possible and we are virtually fine free.  Our online programs are ongoing so check out the event calendar on our website http://www.rlpl.ca or contact lauralee@rlpl.ca .  Stay safe everyone!

Cheers to health, happiness, and prosperity in 2021!

Returning to curbside pick-up

The new temporary shutdown measures announced today by the Provincial government means as of Saturday, December 26 Rideau Lakes Public Library will return to a curbside pick-up mode of service.  While our hours will not change, we will no longer be able to offer browsing in the branches or other in-person support (although we have yet to hear details around computer bookings).  Our drop-boxes remain open and we will continue to quarantine items for the 72 hour period. Please keep checking our website for further updates, stay safe, and have a good holiday.  We will be closed Thursday December 24, Friday December 25, and Saturday December 26. Curbside pick-up service begins Monday, December 28.
