Merry and Bright! December at your Library

  • Wednesday 13th: Paint Club with Fun Art Paint Parties. Create your own unique hand painted vase. Registration required, $40, South Elmsley Hall, 6:30pm
  • Friday 15th: Kid’s After School Free Play Friday. Snacks provided! Registration required. Elgin Hall, 4-5:15pm
  • Monday 18th: Teen After School. Drop in for crafts, needle felting, and treats. Grades 7-12 RDHS Cafeteria, 2:15-4:15pm
  • Thursday 21st: Drop in for a FREE movie matinee screening! Snacks and beverages provided. Elgin Hall, 1-3pm
  • Count the candies jars are at all branches! Guess the amount and win the jar!
  • Look out for special event Saturday labs at our Maker Space throughout the month
  • All RLPL branches will be closed December 24, 25, 26 31, and Jan. 1 for the holidays

Wednesday 1st: Paint Club with Fun Art Paint Parties. Paint a winter scene on slate. Registration required, $55, South Elmsley Hall, 6:30pm

Mondays starting the 6th: Teen Quilting Club. Grades 7-12 are invited to join this 4 week FREE workshop. Registration required. RDHS Cafeteria, 2:15-4:15pm

Wednesday 15th: Jewelry Workshop. Create a unique bracelet. Adults and teens welcome. Registration required. $35, South Elmsley Hall, 6:30pm

Friday 17th: Kid’s After School Free Play Friday. Snacks provided! Registration required. Elgin Hall, 4-5:15pm

Thursday 23rd: The Friends of the Library present a FREE movie matinee screening of “Fool’s Paradise” Drop in! Snacks and beverages provided. Elgin Hall, 1-3pm

Tuesday 28th: Advance Care Planning Seminar. A one hour presentation with Q+A to follow. In partnership with Hospice Hub. Drop in, light snacks and beverages provided. Elgin Hall, 7pm

  • Tuesday October 10th: Weird, Wild and Wacky Weather presentation by storm chaser David T. Chapman. FREE! Registration Required. 7pm, Elgin Hall
  • Mon. 16th- Fri. 20th: Celebrate Ontario Library Week with us! Prizes, games, and activities at all of our branches
  • Thursday 19: The Friends of the Library present “Book Club 2“, a FREE movie matinee. Drop in! 1-3pm, Elgin Hall
  • Friday 20th: Kid’s After School Movie. “Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken“. Kids are picked up from South Crosby Public School, Registration Required. 4-5:30pm, Elgin Hall

  • Saturday 28th: Spooky Saturday at the library! Wear you costume or black and white to enter our book raffle! kids and adult draws at all branches!
