The Rideau Lakes Public Library is hosting a virtual talk on Zoom with Shelley Ball (PhD), author of the newly released “Lyme Disease, Ticks and You: A Guide to Navigating Tick Bites, Lyme Disease and Other Tick-Borne Infections.

This Zoom event will be held Wednesday May 5th at 7:00 pm.

We are returning to curbside pick-up service only as of Saturday, April 3 2021

  • Our curbside hours will remain the same
  • Our drop-boxes remain open
  • You will not be able to browse in the branches
  • You can place holds via your online account or contacting your local branch
  • We will quarantine returned items for a minimum 24 hour period.

Spring is Here

We are open for browsing. Please follow the signs, wear a mask, sanitize and stay home if feeling any symptoms. The RLPL will be CLOSED Friday April 2 & Monday April 5 (we are open Saturday). Hello March

We are now open for browsing at our 5 locations and we are continuing with Curbside pick-up at the Rideau Lakes Public Library. We are so excited to start bringing back in house programming with Baby Song & Rhyme Time, Hooks N’ Books and Workshops, spaces are limited you must register with Laura Lee 613-803-7812.

Snow day

Just when we were set to re-open, nature had other plans! We are sorry but all branches will be closed today, Tuesday February 16th, due to unsafe road conditions. We look forward to seeing everyone when we can all get safely to the branches. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out, . Stay warm and cozy today.
