Curbside pick-up plans

Rideau Lakes Public Library staff miss seeing library members and appreciate being a valuable part of the community. As we move to the next phase of service we need to make sure we’re taking all of the proper steps to ensure our safety and yours.  We are working hard on plans to launch a curbside service that will ensure staff are able to take care of the back-log of returned items, a safe system of loans and returns is in place and proper sanitation supplies are available.

The Rideau Lakes Public Library eagerly anticipates library resources, including books, DVDs, magazines and talking books, to be available again through a holds and pick-up system.  We will be offering hold requests at a later date through our online catalogue, by phone, and email.  In the meantime, digital collections remain available and we provide virtual programs such as our popular online storytime with Laura Lee.

We are here for you and we look forward to soon announcing our expected start-up date and details on this curbside service.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Vicki (vicki@rlpl.ca).
